UPDATED 4.12.2022
In response to information from industry colleagues in Ukraine, the North American tile industry launched a fundraiser to support Save the Children’s humanitarian efforts in the region. Save the Children is a top-rated global humanitarian organization that has been working in Ukraine since 2014.
TILE$4UkrainianChildren is an industry-wide fundraiser co-sponsored by:
- Tile Council of North America (TCNA)
- National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA)
- Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA)
- Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA)
All four co-sponsoring associations have contributed $10,000 each and are encouraging further support from their members. The campaign has set an industry donation goal of $250,000.
“Everyone has seen in the news the horrors of this war in Europe,” said Eric Astrachan, Executive Director of TCNA. “The U.N. is reporting that over 50% of the children in Ukraine have now been displaced, leaving them at serious risk of illness, hunger, and abuse. This fundraiser allows us to immediately put into action tile industry humanitarian support for Ukrainian children.”
TILE$4UkrainianChildren at Coverings

The fundraiser kicked off at Coverings, the largest and most-significant ceramic tile and natural stone conference and exhibition in the United States and North America, that took place April 5-8, 2022 in Las Vegas.
Attendees at Coverings 2022 experienced underlying themes of wellness & environment, timeless luxury, and outdoor living throughout the expansive exhibit hall, interactive show programs and features, and learning opportunities.
Additionally, attendees contributed to the TILE$4UkrainianChildren fundraiser and received an “I Gave” sticker featuring a sunflower, Ukraine’s national flower.

Easy Path to Donate

As Coverings concluded, the fundraiser had donations ranging from $5 to $25,000 and had topped $180,000! Industry leaders are encouraging more participation to reach the $250,000 industry goal as quickly as possible.
