Case Study:
Captivating Curves
Handmade tiles add interest and texture to this kitchen’s curves.
Why Tile®?
An Italian macchia vecchia marble slab backsplash with striking veining sits center stage in the kitchen, while handmade Spanish ceramic tile walls and ceilings add contrast to the room’s architectural curves. Oval windows and open entryways allow for more light to enter the kitchen, and the custom-designed iron room divider creates just the right amount of separation between the kitchen and scullery. Over 1,500 square feet of handmade tile was used for the kitchen’s curved vaulted ceilings, entryways, windows, and walls. The light grey color and glossy texture of the ceramic tile adds interest and reflects the light coming in from the adjoining outdoor pool.
