The design team from HKS Architect implemented sustainable strategies to lower the carbon footprint of the project, including materials selection. The tile chosen is made of 35% pre-consumer recycled material and is produced at a U.S. manufacturing facility, according to the tile manufacturer.

Green Squared Certified products chosen with sustainability in mind. The tile used was a 6″x6″ glazed ceramic wall and counter tile in various colors including Coral Bead, Fire Brick, Galaxy, Key Lime, Mustard, Ocean Blue, Orange Burst, Vermilion, White, and Wood Violet.
