With sustainability in mind, Green Squared Certified mortar was used to install tiles on 22 columns throughout the resort, as well as the floors of the lobby and promenades. Containing recycled materials that reduce its weight, the mortar helped ease the load on the scissor lifts used by installers and facilitated easier installation at the highest portions of the columns, according to the mortar manufacturer.
