Project Description

Bringing decorative art and glamour to life, Jamul Casino instantly immerses visitors in the golden age of Hollywood.

Jamul Casino, originally named the “Hollywood Casino,” opened its doors in October, 2016. The casino features more than 1,600 slot machines, table games, and poker room, along with live entertainment and seven restaurants. Forty different kinds of natural stone, porcelain and glass tiles come together to create the classic style of 1930s art deco.

Why Tile®?

Why Tile.com black logo

Large format porcelain and natural stone tile luxuriously protects these elegant surroundings. As casino guests enter the lobby, they encounter the craftsmanship of intricately patterned, inlaid marble and granite medallions. In addition to the extensive inlay work, the majority of the natural stone and porcelain tile was installed in 18″ x 18″ and 24″ x 24″ formats.

Emerald’s Chinese Cuisine restaurant draws guests’ attention with its bright red tile walls and detailed tile work. Along with Emerald’s, other restaurants located throughout the casino display beautiful tile, as well. Additionally, the walls of the restrooms are tiled in a simple fashion along with the restroom floors, which provides a durable surface for high-traffic areas that can be exposed to wet conditions.
